Micromesh is 100% manufactured in the USA from 16 oz copper, with copper ½" zip screws included. It fits on top of your gutter and features a double-banded design for easy installation—no sharp edges, and no risk of roof or shingle damage because it doesn’t touch them. The drip edge is curved to wick water away from the front face of the gutter. Our innovative pressing technology securely locks brass Micromesh into the copper frame for a bond built to last. Each section includes a 0.5″ Micromesh overhang that overlaps the next for seamless coverage. Waterlock products won’t rust or degrade over time, and can withstand harsh weather. Micromesh controls and slows heavy downpours for no overflow—which means NO MORE LADDER CLIMBING. Designed and manufactured in New Jersey, Waterlock Micromesh can withstand heavy snowfall without buckling.
Micromesh blocks leaves, pine needles, shingle debris, dirt, pollen, seeds, birds, pests, and small animals from entering your gutter system—while still handling the heaviest downpours and extreme conditions. The smaller holes help slow heavy rain so excessive water will not overflow. It also helps stop birds and squirrels from building nests in your gutters, reduces leak stains and marks, and strengthens the gutter system by attaching to the front and back—making it tougher against snow and ice buildup.
Micromesh is easy to install, though professional installation is recommended. Installation is easy as you do not need to lift the shingles - you simply align the front drip edge with the front of the gutter. Fastening is simple: 3–4 screws along the front edge. Optional back-edge screws can be added to increase pitch or provide extra strength in snow and ice conditions. Our installation method outlined in the guide below ensures that your roof and shingles warranty is guaranteed.
Fits 5" residential or commercial gutters, K-Style gutters, box type gutters, and works with metal, flat, or shingle roofs. The only gutter that is incompatible with Waterlock Micromesh is half round gutters.
