Instead of mesh, Pro uses a louvered intake design with 0.7 mm openings to block debris, plus 6.7 mm underside intake ports that capture high-volume runoff and channel it straight into the gutter during downpours. Double-rib reinforcement along the front and back edges adds stiffness, while the double-banded edges eliminate sharp edges for safer handling during installation. Waterlock Pro uses a double-rib reinforced frame to add stiffness and help control water movement. Built-in louvers help block debris while slowing/conditioning heavy flow, and bottom intake holes help pull rainwater into the gutter during downpours.
The front drip edge is shaped to capture high-velocity roof runoff and reduce water overshoot at the gutter lip during peak flow. By breaking up sheet flow at the edge, it helps minimize front-edge spillover. It also discourages water from wetting out and tracking down the gutter face, a common driver of dirt streaking and “tiger striping” over time.
